I have a similar bug here: if I put any OOo window to another desktop, and then try to use that window, it pushes me to the initial desktop _of that window_ ! This means that I can't change the window's desktop to use it.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Have several virtual desktops enabled (4 side-by-side here) 2. Open a file with OpenOffice on any desktop 3. Put the opened window on another desktop (with ctrl+alt+shift+arrow for example) 4. Try to use that window. Notice that this bug only happens under Metacity, no problem with beryl...
