The original issue I reported, marked as a duplicte of this one, was about such packages being missing.
Proper language support is restored for the corresponding language if one installs language-support-writing-*. I believe when someone installs libreoffice-l10n-*, the corresponding locale writing aids (language- support-writing-*) is expected to be installed (and as such should probably be a dependency). Meanwhile as a workaround when writing (hyphenation + thesauraus) are needed for a given locale, it can be installed manually by installing the corresponding language-support-writing-* (for example, language- support-writing-fr for French). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/707443 Title: thesauri and hyphenation packages should be renamed -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
