Thank you for taking the time to make Ubuntu better. Since what you submitted is not really a bug, or a problem, but rather an idea to improve Ubuntu, you are invited to post your idea in Ubuntu Brainstorm at http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/ where it can be discussed, voted by the community and reviewed by developers.
I'm suggesting Brainstorm rather than reporting the bug upstream because I'm not sure how this would be integrated into NetworkManager. I feel it affects more than NM but any application likely to use a SIM card directly or indirectly, so any telephony stack (MM or ofono), or phone management application (like Wammu for sending/receiving SMS). As such, I believe it would make a lot of sense to discuss this on Ubuntu Brainstorm, and I'm closing this bug as Invalid. Thanks for taking the time to share your opinion! ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/680524 Title: Feature Request: Include PIN code disabler -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
