I'm trying out fiesty beta on my laptop with PCMCIA wireless (using NDISwrapper and a solid XP driver) and the wireless seems alot more flaky than Edgy used to.
I use several wireless access points and whenever I go from one to the other, I have to unplug my PCMCIA card, plug it in again, go to the network settings window and switch "roaming mode" on, click OK, go back in and switch it on Off, wait about half a minute, then it connects and get's an IP address and I'm on. I've tried various other ways, but this seems to work each time now, just a bit long-winded. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know. Not sure if its the same problem described above. I've had no other issues with fiesty, just this niggly little glitch. - Any log files I can send you, just let me know. -- flaky association with wireless access points https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/64931 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
