If you open a new file and start typing the wrapping DOES work.  It's
only when you open an existent file that it doesn't.  I don't know if
that's by design or not.  I can't imagine why they wouldn't want you to
be able to wrap on existent files.  Either way, it should be reported to
them to see what they say.
