Eric have compiled and hosted a package at: http://cl.naist.jp/~eric-n/ubuntu-nlp/dists/edgy/japanese/ Feel free to use it as a reference. Note: I reported this bug in breezy. It was meant to be fixed in dapper but apparently wasn't.
