OK, do you want me to do this or will someone else do this? I just reread my submission and I just need to clarify the bug isn't in the chip, rather the driver for it. The card used to work fine in v9.10 and I am sure in early kernels of v10.04 but stopped working in the end presumably due to a change in the driver with a kernel update. This patch needs to be applied to all current and future versions of v4l and Ubuntu really.
