Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dosemu

I have been using dosemu on Kubuntu 9.10 with Borland compiler (TLINK)
for a long time without problems but after upgrading to version 10.10 I
cannot run TLINK any more and I'm getting error:

ERROR: general protection at 0x301ff: 0

This seems to be related to the dosemu 1.4.0.1 package (actually
1.4.0+svn.1999-2) in Ubuntu 10.10, since the old version of dosemu
(1.4.0.0) run from a backup of the 9.10 system is also working on 10.10.

I couldn't find any hints on the Internet or anyone having the same
problem. Can anyone please help me?

The only strange thing I noticed as a difference between the two
versions of dosemu is the extra line "CONF: not enough privilege to
define config variable c_user" on the non-working 1.4.0.1. But I have no
idea what it means.

The boot.log output from dosemu 1.4.0.1 is attached.
