Gnome is 2.30.2 Locale is set to ja_JP (Japanese) Computer is HP TX2 touchscreen laptop. After perform standby in Gnome, machine appears to go into standby ok with the power indicator intermittently blinking in intervals to show it is in standby - this is expected.. However, after initiate wake from standby via the power button, the machine does turn on, the hard drive indicator does flash indicating activity, however it stays with a blank screen. Ctrl+Alt+F1 does not even work. It appears to just hang with the only remedy to be to perform a manual poweroff with the power button. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/703179 Title: Cannot resume from standby - computer activated but hands with blank screen -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
