Public bug reported:

Allo!

I know that Canonical will upgrade his Ubuntu Software up 10 11.04 in April
2011... I saw some video about this Narwhall version... it's look good...
In a Vimeo's video... the Menu... is appearing in a ribbon on the left
of the screen... (On 10.10... A lot of applications are put on a panel
on the left... of the screen... as like as Ubuntu 11.04)...
I just try to Dowload the Ubuntu 11.04 alpha 1... (the cd i386 and
the dvd i386 to install it on a computer available... for me)...
When i try to install Ubuntu 11.04... it's not goes on... I think
that the installation process doesnt recognize my lcd screen.

I go back to install Ubuntu 10.10... on this computer... and it
was ok... except that the lcd screen was a 1024 X 768... I try
to use the update-manager -d to update 10.10 to 11.04... and
it doesnt work....

After all, i try to install another Linux OS to know if it was
my screen... the graphic card/driver... or wathever... I Install
OpenSuse 11.3... and all was OK... And Suse recognize my LCD screen
1280X 1024 LCD screen...
(I love the Idea... that big project shall help nature... and
especially 'les especes menaces ou meprises... including poor people')

For now... I will wait for a Ubuntu 11.04 stable version...
Thanks a lot...

PS. I'm working on a project to build a lot of programs
to manage Library on CD-DVD and soon as possible on BR disk...
A requirement of my project...: shall we available on
Linux... and Windows... (For Now... it's runnning Ok on XP)
I'm using Lazarus-FreePascal software... a friend-partner of
Canonical...
(You are not oblige to change anything for now... i will wait
the stable version in april 11).
