The Kernel I'm using is => 2.6.32-27-generic-pae #49-Ubuntu SMP I tried post #85's instructions, but it causes more problems than it solves... The DVD burner is connected to PATA connector (Primary - Master). (From 2.20x down to 1.90x; according to K3b) ...And the whole system feels notably sluggish.
