Public bug reported: Binary package hint: simple-scan
I verified the scanner can get both sides in Linux using "Image Scan! for Linux". However, "Simple Scan" does not seem to get the back page correctly. After scanning a double-sided document (with preference set to capture front and back), the preview of the first page is displayed correctly. Then a second page appeared for a brief moment with the hour glass (the circling fading bubbles) appearing. However, after a short moment, the second (back) page disappeared from the preview window with no message.
