Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
When I click the rhythmbox icon in the notification bar, instead of showing the useful "play/next/previous, quit" options in a dropdown, it shows a uselessly shortened menu with no menu text. Essentially, a left-click only highlights the notification icon and displays a broken shortened dropdown menu. Right click works as normal. This also means that: When you open the rythmbox application, it just shows as the notification icon, which is unusable. When you close the rythmbox application it minimizes to the notification bar instead of actually closing, rendering it unusable. The only workaround is to open rythmbox twice for force access to the actual window.
