Looks like that the HPLIP on your box is not recognizing your printer.

I am having problems with running hplip how do I run this

Status in HP Linux Imaging and Printing:
New
Status in “hplip” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete

Bug description:
Purchased a new Deskjet 2050 All-in-One J510 series printer.

The computer detected the printer ok
Proceded to select the drivers which offered me Deskjet 2000 driver this was 
successful.

Attempted to print the Test Page.

The Print Job processed successfully but the printer did not action
anything
