Yes. Still have the same issue. I have kept up with the system updates for 10.04, but after installing them, rebooting, and attempting the upgrade I get the same error. I am looking at having to to a fresh start in the future if this can't be resolved... which is unfortunate. Part of the reason I left Slackware a few years ago was b/c Ubuntu made keeping up to date easy... until now.
