It seems that you are trying to use beryl over Xgl. Since Feisty's beryl-core package doesn't include bery-xgl , this could be related with:
beryl-xgl missing from beryl and beryl-core (feisty) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beryl-core/+bug/95394 Remember that you only need to use beryl-xgl if your xorg driver doesn't support native rendering or AIGLX (like it happens with the ATI proprietary driver). If you are using a driver that supports AIGLX -like the free ati driver with some cards, or nvidia's proprietary one- you just need to change beryl rendering options using the "advanced" menu in beryl's tray icon. -- trying beryl, but it did not start at all https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102163 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
