Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
This is an usability issue I found on Nautilus that I think will improve the user experience if it's corrected. If I connect a storage device like a pen drive or an external HD in my computer, Ubuntu automatically opens a new Nautilus window that shows the contents of the device. That's nice. But if I already have a Nautilus' window opened, Ubuntu will open another one for the connected storage device. I think will be better if this storage device opens in a new TAB instead, if Nautilus is open. Tabbed file browsing is a great feature in Nautilus, and I think this will make a better use of this feature. Thank you! ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/699810 Title: Nautilus should open new storage devices in a new tab when already running -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
