Hi, I'm back in Qatar and Ubuntu is running. Think bug was resolved in 2.6.35.23.
When today starting up with different kernels: 2.6.35.24: Works fine 2.6.35.23: Works fine 2.6.35.22: Still does not work Conclusion: Problem is solved.
