Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lastfm
Hello from a Kubuntu (Feisty) desktop For some background: I attempted to install a .deb package of last.fm from the official website not realizing it was for an older version of (K)ubuntu. After that failed attempt at installing it I went into adept and selected the last.fm application to install. After the installation I started the program and it ran. Once I selected the the Artist the program crashed. I have a crashlog but do not know where to send it. I ran strace (as someone suggested in the #ubuntu+1 room and I am elcosing the last few lines from the report it generated: open("/dev/snd/controlC0", O_RDWR) = 16 ioctl(16, USBDEVFS_CONTROL, 0xbfc68b34) = 0 ioctl(16, 0x40045532, 0xbfc68b54) = 0 open("/dev/snd/pcmC0D1p", O_RDWR|O_NONBLOCK|O_ASYNC) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) close(16) = 0 futex(0xb7197224, FUTEX_WAKE, 2147483647) = 0 write(2, "\n", 1) = 1 write(2, "RtApi: no devices found for give"..., 220) = 220 write(2, "\n\n", 2) = 2 --- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) --- Hope this is helpful. Looks like I can attach a file. I have a crash file.
