The only thing that i can observe here is a segfault due to openoffice, no Xorg error in the logs. Can you please completely remove and reinstall it cleaning on first the cache with sudo apt-get clean, then remove and reinstall OpenOffice from synaptic and try to reproduce this issue. If it happens again, please reattach the requested files.
