I have created an Ubuntu package for spread 4.1.0, which I attach here. I am trying to figure out how to submit this package in the proper way, but in the meantime the attached file could be used to generate the packages and I would also appreciate any feedback on the packaging. To build the package the file spread-src-4.1.0.tar.gz from www.spread.org is required, and it needs to have the name spread_4.1.0.orig.tar.gz.
