This bug report indicates that your system is configured to use grub2,
but that you have uninstalled grub2 in favor of the grub1 bootloader
package without configuring it. You must either configure grub1 for
use, or reinstall grub2 by running the following command from a
terminal: 'sudo apt-get install grub-pc'.
