Not for me. I've upgraded to 2.6.20-14-generic SMP and my laptop just had three successive hang-ups, each for thirty seconds as it waits for some ATA function to time out. This is on a clean boot (i.e., not resuming from suspend or hibernation.) I should also note that this is sporadic: I can work a whole day and not have it happen once, or it'll happen every other minute and I'll have to restart. I'm attaching the last 150 lines from my dmesg.
