Thank you for reporting this issue. I am keeping this open because I also observed the notification area icons shrink and grow. However, the latest updates seem to have resolved that issue. Now the icons appear to be about 1/2 the size of the mixer icon. At least the size seems to stay the same now. Do let us know if this continues to be an issue.
