Same issue here:

AMD 7750 X2 'Stock 2.7ghz'( DUAL CORE ) ATHLON 64 BIT BLACK EDITION
ASUS M3N78-SE motherboard

I trust this will be fixed regardless as thermal sensors server a
purpose otherwise manufactures would not use them. If these sensors
provide reliable readings under Windows, which I presume they do
otherwise gamers would complain bitterly, then they should be working
under Linux.

Comments like "This is a AMD specific upstream bug and it will NOT be
fixed, since 95% of AMDs thermal sensors give the wrong value." are
unhelpful. If this is the case, then it needs to be fully explained.
