I was desperate so even tried a reboot (and power cycle) but the problem persists. What is so puzzling is that it managed to record three DVDs initially. With first one I had slow burning speed issue which I resolved by fiddling with wodim and growisofs plugins priority as documented on the web (took me some time until I found there are two parallel configuration systems). Next two it recorded flawlessly so why all the sudden this space issue?
I then installed k3b which works just fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/682102 Title: Brasero says "Not enough space available on the disc" even when data to be burned is well within the limits and Gnome-Baker burns the DVD all right. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
