Hi all, after upgrading to Lucid yesterday I realised that wicd was behaving strangely and refused to associate, ending in a 'Wrong password' error message. So after a little research I realised that network-manager was also installed on my system. As far as I know, the wicd and network-manager packages had so far always been marked as conflicting with each other. But this is not the case with Lucid. Removing and purging both packages, then reinstalling wicd fixed the problem. I think the real problem lies in the packages not being marked as conflicting. Hope that helps...
