It's not working as intended for me, on Gnome 2.32.0/Ubuntu 11.04: $HOME/.config/user-dirs.dirs said XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/" not XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/Pictures"
Why isn't there a GUI to configure the screensaver?
