I had this exact issue on my Intel 5100 wireless card for a long time. Numerous kernel updates have not fixed it. FYI. The trick I learned which would greatly improve the connection stability is to disable the N feature of the device by creating a file:
/etc/modprobe.d/intel-5300-iwlagn-disable11n.conf In it, put the following line: options iwlagn 11n_disable=1 Reboot the system and you may notice the improvement, too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578546 Title: wireless randomly disconnects -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
