Those are the commands I was trying that didn't work though - soundkonverter would instead quit almost immediately without actually doing anything. That's why I reverted to the semi-automated approach of clicking manually through the GUI buttons - if I didn't, the conversion never even started (I was using 'ps' as a quick hack to check when the process was terminating).
