I have been trying to print labels from Writer using my evolution address book, which uses the evolution-data-server webdav backend. However, tables in the webdav backend aren't visible in evolution; only the file, ldap and groupwise backends are visible. Also, the recently introduced couchdb backend is not visible in OOo. I think both backends should be visible. I've actually filed a bug on the openoffice.org site about this: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116116 However, reading this bug on launchpad https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/324896 it's not clear whether the right place to report the bug is actually openoffice.org.
