Public bug reported: As a recoll user, I was pleased that there was a new script hotrecoll (http://bitbucket.org/medoc/recoll/wiki/HotRecoll), so you can toggle the recoll window. But the feature to automatically minimize window to a different workspace does only work when the desktop effects are turned off (Ubuntu Menu/System/Preferences/Appearance/Visual Effects).
