@jimmylc - if Arch Linux has released an update of Inkscape 0.48.0 which includes the diff from revision 9725 of the 0.48.x inkscape branch, please set the bug status of the bug task you added, but do not change the bug status for the Inkscape project itself (as previously mentioned, Inkscape has not released a version yet which includes this fix).
