Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vinagre
Vinagre fails to set up a tunnel to a Windows host (in my case running freeSSHd), apparently because it sends the command "echo ViNagRE_CHEck; sleep 15" to the remote, assuming it will be a POSIX shell on the other end. It isn't, so the command fails and Vinagre gives "Error creating the SSH tunnel: Permission denied" error message and decides not to connect.
