Hi brian, Got exactly the same problem. without quiet and splash screen, the boot process freeze while trying to starting up the network interface. I'm connected via a wireless network. To unfreeze the PC, i must do alt ctrl del, it kills 2 process and then the PC do a normal boot... I've tried to use bootchart to find what is blocking but with no success... Can you unreject it? If you want I can do more testing, but tell me what! :)
