I have reverted back to using two-finger emulation, because I just can't get used to two-finger scrolling with the fingers apart, that is really unconvenient (same thing as with Windows and official Synaptics driver).
synclient -m 100 reads as follows : two fingers apart : 2 fingers registered, width 5 two fingers joining : 1 finger registered, width 15 So I understand why two-finger scrolling won't work with the fingers joining : they register as one finger only. I just don't feel comfortable with the fingers apart, so I am going back to my emulation script. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308191 Title: Multitouch support not available for Synaptics touchpads v7.2 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
