It's the newest version; they're rebuilt daily against what's current in
sound-2.6 master HEAD.

For your hardware, the relevant model quirks are listed in:

and upon inspecting the actual codec dump, only the hp and hp-dv7-4000
seem remotely applicable.  Please try them between fresh, cold boots.
