I added the model=lg line to alsa-base.conf some time ago (I think when I installed ubuntu 6.10 on 2006, but I'm not sure). If I don't use it the built-in speakers and the mics (both the built-in and external) dont work.
Anyway, I've tried removing that option and rebooting, and the problem persists. ** Attachment added: "alsa-info.txt.3DHVH12Ih9" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/659828/+attachment/1753194/+files/alsa-info.txt.3DHVH12Ih9 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659828 Title: [Realtek ALC880] Playback problem (crackling while moving window) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
