I have Brasero 2.30.2 installed with Ubuntu 10.04.1.

Just today I installed cdrdao from default Ubuntu repos to finally get
Braseo to work, but I find this message in Brasero under Extras >
Plugins: "The version of cdrdao is too old."

dpkg -l | grep "libao2\|cdrdao"
ii cdrdao 1:1.2.2-18ubuntu4
records CDs in Disk-At-Once (DAO) mode
ii libao2 0.8.8-5ubuntu2
              Cross Platform Audio Output Library

I guess this more or less means that this version of cdrdao is not
detected either.
