Does the symptom disappear if you make either/both of the following
modifications?
1) In /etc/pulse/daemon.conf, change default-fragment-size-msec to have
the value 20 instead of 10;
2) In /etc/pulse/default.pa, change load-module module-udev-detect to
have tsched=0 appended.
