Public bug reported: Unlike the situation with other (laptop-internal) touchpads I have used with ubuntu, the touchpad settings menu under "Mouse" is unavailable for the Cirque Easy Cat USB desktop touchpad.
There is a thread where other users describe the same issue on the ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1046589 The result of this is that touchpad features, such as horizontal scrolling cannot be used with the Cirque Easy Cat USB. These options are available for the device when used with Windows systems.
