Public bug reported: In Feisty, my wireless card, a Conceptronic C54g (or similar) PCI with ralink's rt2500 chipset doesn't work automatically after booting. I know it doesn't work with network manager, so I have configured it with the standard gnome network tool and have disabled network manager in System -> Preferences -> Sessions. To make the card work, I have to keep doing sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart after every boot. After that, it works just fine. Using the legacy drivers (rt2500.ko), rt2x00 drivers don't work at all.
