The thing is, this line must have been added manually somewhere, e g in 
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, but it could have been in another file as well. 
To edit that file, e g open a terminal and enter this command:
gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
