Same problem... twice and always with WD Disks and a RAID (RAID0 2disks WD 80GB and RAID1 1 WD 500GB and 1 Samsung 250GB) The first time I ran the write-mode badblocks test and the result was NO errors and problems happen more one time. The errors never was with the Samsung disk :S
I'm not sure, but this time I think that problems begin in Intrepid...
