I'm a novice to computers and Linux. Have the latest version of Ubuntu
which I down-loaded a few days ago. The Rhythm box player was working
fine when I first used it. As I said I added some GStreamer components
which than caused the Rhythm box not to work and then I undid them. The
real player still doesn't work. I really didn't know what I was doing!

[Realtek ALC662 rev1] Playback problem Rhythm box will not play. there is no
sound. I may have erased some necessary sub programs while I was trying to get
real player to work.
