I have the same issue with dapper on lg s1 mduo laptop (686 kernel, restricted modules installed). Periodically, ipw3945 is choking one of my cores (constant 50% cpu). I don't know how to stop the process, as it seems to be unkillable... I sure hope this is sorted out.
