Thank you for opening this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I
would firstly like to ask whether you are unable to install only certain
applications or whether you are unable to install all applications from
the software center. Also, could you please describe your gui problems
in greater detail, it will be helpful to attach screenshots of any
problems you are experiencing.
