Same problem here on 10.04 LTS with this wifi chip. Used to work flawlessly on 9.10... Am not moving to 10.10 until this is sorted out.
I'm not sure whether it is a driver problem or a network manager problem, however when I run : sudo restart network-manager Suddenly I can connect again. Usually the connection lasts for ~1hour, sometimes longer... It seems to be depending on the quantity of data transmitted. If I am into heavy downloading sessions, it stops in a shorter timeframe. -- [karmic] Wireless LAN disconnects frequently # Chipset Intel 3945ABG @ AP with WPA https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/425455 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
