When looking further, it has to do with the content being printed in my case. A test page works, a simple document as well. Things like a firefox printout or pdf's fail depending on content. When printing a 'hanging' document this clogs up the total queue of course.
I've removed hplip (directly installed from repo ubuntu 10.10) and installed the one provided by HP: HPLIP 3.10.9. This is a hassle but solved my problem, all content is now printed fine. So I expect there was a fix upstream in HPLIP? Or maybe some dependencies are needed (i had to install a bunch to get hp-setup rolling). -- printing not working to HPLaserjet 1320 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/634058 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
