I Tried 5 times : "sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart" ... and "sudo stop gdm" ... wait 10 sec... "sudo start gdm" ... rebooted and repeated the same sequence again, but without more luck. As you suggested me, I clicked on "this bug affects me" - thanks for this advice.
